Return Eligibility
At ILoveMud, each piece of pottery is hand-thrown and kiln-fired with great care. Returns are accepted only in cases where a wrong or damaged product has been delivered to you.
✓ Eligible for Return:
- Wrong pottery item delivered (different shape, style, or product)
- Item arrived cracked, chipped, or broken due to transit damage
- Significant glaze defect not visible in product images
✕ Not Eligible for Return:
- Minor variations in colour, texture, or size — these are natural in handmade pottery
- Slight irregularities in shape — a hallmark of authentic hand-thrown clay work
- Damage caused by improper handling or use after delivery
- Change of mind after delivery
How to Report a Return
Once your pottery order is delivered and you discover a wrong or damaged product, you must report it to us within 24 hours of the recorded delivery time.
Step 1 — Document
Take clear photographs of the damaged or incorrect item and the packaging.
Step 2 — Unboxing Video
An unboxing video is mandatory for all pottery items. Record from the moment you begin opening the parcel, showing each item as it is revealed.
Step 3 — Contact Us
Email your photos, unboxing video, and order ID to our support team within 24 hours of delivery.
🏺 Why an unboxing video? Pottery is fragile and handcrafted — a video starting from the sealed package gives us the full picture and helps us process your return quickly and fairly.
Refund Process
Once a return is approved by our team after verifying your report:

Our team will review your photos and/or unboxing video within 2 business days.

You will receive a return approval notification with pickup/drop-off instructions.

The refund will be processed to your original payment method within 2–3 business days after we receive and inspect the returned item.
- 4
Funds are usually credited to your account within 7–15 business days depending on your bank.
Exchange Option
If you would prefer to exchange your damaged or incorrect pottery piece for the correct item, we are happy to arrange this at no extra delivery charge, subject to availability of the product.
Please mention your preference for an exchange (instead of a refund) when you contact our support team.
